A.M.B.E.R alert
Noun
The AMBER Alert system provides the public with immediate and up-to-date information about a child abduction via widespread media broadcasts on television, radio and wireless devices, and solicits the public’s assistance with the safe and swift return of an abducted child.
Example: The goal of an AMBER Alert is to involve as many community members as possible in the search for an abducted child — each community member becoming the eyes and the ears of law enforcement.

Noun
A spike strip (SPIKE BELT, traffic spikes, tire shredders, stingers, stop sticks, Stinger or formally known as a tire deflation device) is a device or incident weapon used to impede or stop the movement of wheeled vehicles by puncturing their tires.
Example: At around 5:30 p.m. the suspect vehicle was then discovered again 5 kilometers from Merritt on Highway 5A without its trailer. Police deployed a SPIKE BELT and eventually the vehicle stopped, but then continued travelling again before coming to a stop on Highway 8 near Snake Road and Highway 97C.
